Hello there,
this is the second Devlog post and a lot has changed.
Short summary:
- The cavemen are now a bit smarter, they will follow and attack you if alarmed and you are in ther line of sight. Otherwise they will just patrol their area
- Falling, rolling, swinging and even stationary saw blades are now out there to kill you
- To keep things challenging, there is now a "hunger-meter" which works like a timer, that you can fill up. If the timer runs out you will "starve" and have to restart the level
- Don't fall in despair yet, to make it easier, an enemy scanner has been added, to guide you to your next prey, which is activated whenever you trigger the luring call
- You can also now hide in the grass, by ducking in it, and if your timing is right you can attack your enemy from behind
- Talking about the Game Over screen: It has been added and already reworked, though I'm still not very satisfied with the current version, it get's the job done
- The Raptor animations improved
- Also a couple of decorations and story hints have been built in
I've received some feedback from my first test players, who overall agreed that the level of difficulty is a little to hard, so the level will might be reworked for the next update.
Next on the road map is:
- Adding a Won-Screen
- 2 more levels
- A boss fight
- A main menu
- An over world selection
- I'm planing to add 8 Worlds in total, with 3 Levels and a Boss fight each, wich sum up to 24 Levels and 8 bosses
So that's all I got for now.
